CCTC Partners with Coleman Rodeo Association to Bring Fiber Internet to Coleman Rodeo Grounds
Coleman County Telephone Cooperative, Inc. is proud to announce the completion of a new fiber internet connection serving the Coleman Rodeo Grounds, including the Coleman County Youth Activity Center and Goree Expo Center.
Through a partnership with the Coleman Rodeo Association, CCTC brought reliable fiber connectivity to the rodeo grounds in time for this year’s Coleman PRCA Rodeo. The new connection helped support a first for the event: live streaming of the rodeo each night through the Cowboy Channel+ App.
“This is something new and exciting for our rodeo, and we are so grateful and appreciative for the work CCTC has done for us,” said Coleman Rodeo Association member Jody Barr. “The internet worked beautifully, and we look forward to the new opportunities this connection will provide in the future.”
The Coleman Rodeo has long been a cherished community tradition and has grown into a premier PRCA-sanctioned event that attracts thousands of fans and top professional competitors every year. With fiber now available at the grounds, the Coleman Rodeo Association will have additional opportunities to use reliable connectivity for future events, streaming, communications, vendors and other technology needs.
The new fiber connection will also benefit the Coleman County Youth Activity Center, which serves as a gathering place for many county youth and community organizations. Area meetings, trainings, competitions and educational seminars are held in the facility throughout the year.
“The new fiber connections provided by Coleman County Telephone Cooperative will enhance our facility and provide new streaming opportunities in the future for our county and surrounding area,” said Coleman County Youth Activity Center Secretary Sarah Beal. “We appreciate the upgrades and support from CCTC.”
CCTC General Manager/CEO Kandra Young said the project reflects the cooperative’s continued commitment to investing in the communities it serves.
“Bringing fiber to the Coleman Rodeo Grounds is about more than internet service,” Young said. “It is about supporting local traditions, strengthening community events and helping Coleman County stay connected in new and meaningful ways.”
CCTC is proud to support the Coleman Rodeo Association, Coleman County Youth Activity Center and Goree Expo Center, and looks forward to seeing how this new connection benefits Coleman County for years to come.
